Loss of Hire
For this specialist area, we find that we are mainly appointed for ‘stand-alone’ Loss of Hire claims under various plans. Working together with Owners Superintendent, Adjusters and Hull and Machinery interests we seek onto agreeing on the appropriate choice of repair facility together with methodology before the choice of repair yard are agreed.

Then attending at intervals during the repair to ensure that the length of off-hire period is effectively minimised.

On the occasions when the loss of hire is declared at a late stage, we make according to investigations and work with Adjusters, Owners and Hull and Machinery surveyors in order that a fair and reasonable outcome is achieved.

Hull and Machinery:
By the process of attendance and documentary review, we are able to consider all aspects of machinery and structural failures whether it be a hull loss, salvage or damage to associated marine infrastructure or products in transit.

We follow up our determination of the cause and extent of any damage by the control of and detailed approval of repairs.

Protection and Indemnity:
Wherever the marine incident may be, we are available to attend for most types of major casualties. Identifying the cause during comprehensive investigation together with the collection and safeguarding of evidence.
